Postcard from Bronte Beach
Bronte Beach quickly became my beach of choice, being named after one of my favorite authors and also being host to the oldest surf live-saving club in the world. Thus, I feel perfectly inspired to read my book and quite safe if I do decide to dip my toes in the sparkling water.
Bronte Beach is full of sun-seekers on a sunny summer day. But even on a stormy day, Bronte Beach is beautiful and still full of surf-seekers.
On a stormy day, the beach is closed due to dangerous currents.
Even on stormy days, the surfers still brave the waves at Bronte.
To get here, take the 378 from Railway Square.
