Good things come in threes
It’s been said that good things come in threes: as of today, I’ve been blogging for three incredible years and I’ve got THREE brilliant travel plans to share.
The past year of blogging took me back to Paris and Nice, sailing through Croatia and the San Blas Islands, cruising to the Bahamas from Miami, driving across the USA and settling down in New York City. For a walk down memory lane: check out my very first post, my first anniversary post, my second anniversary post and my 500th post. But, as always, the most exciting stuff is ahead of us…
Blogger trip to Jordan
I can’t even express just how thrilled I am to be visiting the Middle East for the very first time as a guest of the Jordan Tourism Board at the end of April. My mom learned Arabic as part of her language training in the FBI, and I grew up with a healthy appreciation for Middle Eastern foods, traditions and culture–and I just found out that her language instructor was from Jordan! This is an absolutely incredible opportunity to see a brand-new part of the world, and I’m already daydreaming of floating in the Dead Sea and wandering through the ancient city of Petra.
Birthday trip to Iceland
One thing that I have fully committed to is spending each of my birthdays in my 20s in a different country: so far, I’ve celebrated in Las Vegas, France, Australia and Croatia. This year, I’ll be turning 25 in Iceland! My BFF Aly and I can’t wait for 24 hours of daylight as we road trip around the island, pamper ourselves at the Blue Lagoon and go snorkeling at midnight.
World Domination Summit
I read The $100 Startup in early March, and I’ve been feel super motivated ever since! It’s all about entrepreneurship, the rise of microbusinesses and the art of creating alternative lifestyles. The author of the book is also the man behind the World Domination Summit–and after hearing nothing but super positive reviews from many friends, I decided that my life could use a jumpstart. I’m looking forward to visiting Portland, catching up with some of my favorite people and getting inspired to living the most awesome life possible.
As always: THANK YOU. None of this would be possible without you! I’m so grateful for all the readers who have stuck around from the beginning and for every new reader who stumbles across this blog. I appreciate every comment, every tweet, every like and I can’t express my gratitude nearly enough.
