Maine: on video!
My friend Jillian and I decided to take our second annual friendship getaway (see: Bucks County) to Maine: it was a state that neither of us had visited, and when we booked in the heart of January, we had grand dreams of wildflowers, sunshine and eating lobster rolls on the beach. In important things we learned: while summer in Maine is surely glorious, it does NOT start in May! It was far chillier and rainier than we hoped for, but we still enjoyed lattes, lighthouses and lobster rolls (and plenty of laughs!) during our stay.
